I am Concha Alhambra, the architect of the creation of artists.bcn. After many years working in exciting professions such as journalism, advertising, audiovisual and photographic production, among many others, I accepted the challenge of collaborating in the birth of an artistic representation agency in Madrid. In that stage, which ended many years ago, I discovered something amazing... that I could turn my passion for opera and classical music into a way of life.
In 2010, once again settled in Barcelona, the city where I really feel alive and to which I pay a small tribute in the name of the company, I decided to embark on my own adventure. I knew in depth the ins and outs of agencies and I was convinced that things could be done in a different way, neither better nor worse but different, closer to the artist, creating a space where we all collaborate and help each other to achieve what seems impossible: to make our passion for music a reality.
And at the same time, without forgetting the needs and circumstances of the 'other side of the business', the programmers, acting with absolute honesty and professionalism, knowing that it is essential to gain their trust and respect in order to move in the right direction.
And starting from these simple premises, I set off, step by step, to create a very solid basis. Along the way, I had the good fortune to come across some wonderful artists and better people, who believed in me and decided to work with me to create artists.bcn, accepting the concept and sharing my way of understanding the world.
That's why we say that we are not an artistic management agency because in reality we are united in this adventure, each and every one of us, and we are convinced that quality and professionalism always pay off.
Maybe we will take longer, maybe we won't get as far, but what I can assure you is that we are going to enjoy every meter of the journey.
