Russian-Cuban soprano Anna Cabrera Eliseeva was born in Moscow in 1997, where she initiated her musical studies. In 2016, she relocated to Madrid, starting her studies at the Escuela Superior de Canto. She graduated with Honors in Voice and Vocal Repertoire and received the award from the Association of Friends of the School in 2020. She also participated in masterclasses with renowned figures such as Mariella Devia, Giulio Zappa, and Miquel Ortega, among others.
Among her accolades, she notably secured the Second Prize, Teatro Real Prize, and Gran Teatre del Liceu Prize at the XVII Montserrat Caballé International Singing Competition, as well as a Special Prize at the XIV Magda Olivero International Competition.
In her burgeoning career, she has performed roles like Elvira in L'italiana in Algeri at Tenerife Opera and Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Italy, under the musical direction of Nikolas Maximilian Nägele. She has also portrayed Apollonia in Haydn's La Canterina at the Little Opera Festival in Zamora.
Shortly, Cabrera will return to Tenerife to take part in the production of María Moliner, where she will sing the roles of the Inspector and Carmen Conde.
