Born in Palencia, Javier Castañeda combines his studies in Industrial Engineering and Anthropology with the Piano career, both in Valladolid. He discovers his vocation for singing a few years later, moving to Madrid to train at the Superior School of Singing with the singer Juan Lomba. He also receives master classes from Carlos Álvarez and Deborah Polaski.
He begins his artistic experience in 2015. He participates in various productions with the Madrid Opera group at the Teatro Victoria in the city ... Rigoletto, Il barbiere di Siviglia, La Bohème, L'elisir d'amore, La del manojo de rosas and La verbena de la Paloma, among others.
Javier Castañeda's recent highlights include his debut at Teatro Calderón in Valladolid in the opera Un ballo in maschera (Sam).
In oratory, he sings the Messiah and Samson by Haendel, the Requiem by Mozart, and the Magnificat and the Cantatas by Bach.
Next futur includes his debut at Teatro Cervantes in Málaga with the role of Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia, and Villamarta in Jerez.
