As the winner of the II International Lyrical Competition Teatro Besostri di Mede (Pavia), she was invited to perform in various seasons and concerts in Italy. She appeared as Fenena in Nabucco at the Teatro Talisio Tirinnanzi in Legnano and at Teatro Besostri, and as Maddalena in Rigoletto at the Festival Sotto le stelle, once again in Pavia. Additionally, she was a semifinalist in the International Piemonte Opera Voci dal Mondo Competition (2018, Turin) and was selected by the Mythos Opera Festival for the opera season at the Antico Teatro di Taormina (2019, Sicily).
She made her debut at the Opera de Las Palmas with Falstaff, singing the role of Meg, and she returned in 2021 to participate in La Cenerentola, and later, in Rigoletto (Maddalena). Among the roles she has incorporated into her repertoire are Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Santuzza and Lola in Cavalleria rusticana, Mercedes in Carmen, the protagonist in Piazzolla's María de Buenos Aires, Frugola in Il tabarro, Zita in Gianni Schicchi, and Aurora in Doña Francisquita. She has performed in venues such as the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo, the Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, Cervantes in Malaga, the Teatro Villamarta in Jerez, and Calderón in Valladolid, to name a few examples.
With an intense symphonic activity, her repertoire includes works such as Malher's Second Symphony, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and Falla's El amor brujo, among others. Del Barrio takes part in some of the most important music festivals in Spain, including the Otoño Musical Soriano, Festival de Música Sacra de Madrid, and the Festival MUSEG de Segovia. She also collaborates with orchestras such as Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y León, Euskadi Symphony Orchestra, Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria, and Schlachtensee Chamber Orchestra of Berlin.
Her interest in the music of contemporary composers has led her to premiere various works, including Requiem de la Aurora by María José Cordero (created as a tribute to the victims of COVID-19) and Komorebi by Pilar Jurado.
